Tree protection measures may be required in order to protect trees on neighboring properties which may be impacted with removal of the existing structure on site and construction of the new structure. PUBLIC  NOTICE: 2018 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS AND PROCESS

The City of Lake Forest Park is accepting formal applications for amendments to the Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map. Amendments to the Comprehensive Plan are allowed on an annual basis under Lake Forest Park Municipal Code (LFPMC 18.01). Applications for Comprehensive Plan Amendments, along with the required fee of $500.00, plus $200.00 noticing fee, must be received and determined complete by the Planning Department by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018. An additional $2,900.00 fee will be required upon acceptance of the proposal onto the final docket adopted by City Council. There is no extra charge for an accompanying rezone proposal. NOTICE OF DECISION FOR MAJOR SENSITIVE AREA WORK PERMIT

Approved Project: Restoration and enhancement of Lyon Creek. The proposal includes removal of riprap boulders using hand tools, placement of fir and cedar logs, and planting 50 Western Red Cedar trees and 200 Salal and Sword Ferns. The applicant has received a Hydraulic Project Approval (HPA) from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (HPA # 2017-4-329-+01) Project approval is subject to all conditions and mitigation required by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. CITY OF LAKE FOREST PARK DETERMINATION OF NONSIGNIFICANCE (DNS)

Description of proposal: Non-project proposal to amend Lake Forest Park Municipal Code (LFPMC) Chapter 18.34.020to clarify that food and alcohol consumption is allowed on-premises on those properties that have the Neighborhood Business (BN) zoning designation.
